The University for the Creative Arts International College (UCAIC) has a unique and diverse International Pathway portfolio running across three campuses (Farnham, Epsom and Canterbury). The International Pathway courses in each campus have specific subject area focuses which are managed by a Programme Director.

The University for the Creative Arts International College (UCAIC) is looking to appoint a highly motivated multidisciplinary lecturer for the International Pathway programmes at our Farnham campus, to teach our level 3 Foundation courses and level 6 pre-master courses. 

Central to the role is providing innovative and dynamic creative subject teaching and curriculum development for the integrated International Programmes. The postholder will lead/deliver key creative projects across subject areas on the Level 3 International Foundation and Level 6 Pre-Masters courses throughout the academic year. Possess the skills and experience to manage and motivate large, diverse studio groups. They will provide pastoral support to students; undertake assessment, monitor and track student attendance and academic progress and student enhancement, as well as engaging in student recruitment activities as required by the school.

You will have a PGcert in creative education and a master’s degree in an appropriate subject preferably with a PhD qualification and/or industry expertise. It is expected that you will have experience of teaching at university level, ideally level 3 & 6 and supporting students including with online technologies. We are looking for an innovative and inclusive approach to the teaching of creative subjects and you should be able to demonstrate an awareness of contemporary critical issues in the field globally. You must evidence a commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and widening participation in teaching, research, and university life.
