Job Description:The Europe, Middle Ease and Africa (EMEA) Controller Business Management & Support (ECBMS) team is part of JP Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank Business and Finance team. The team provides Business Management (BM) and digital & innovation support to the EMEA financial controller team. This includes:

  • Headcount & expense management
  • MIS provision
  • Strategic planning
  • DE&I
  • Resiliency
  • Digital Innovation

You will support the EMEA Legal Entity Controller team’s Business Management & Communications Agenda. As the part of the EMEA Controller Business Management & Support team you will support stakeholders with headcount and hiring management, providing Management Information Systems (MIS), driving people development & training agenda and ensuring high standard of communication across the organization. The prime stakeholders are within the EMEA Legal Entity Controls (LEC) community.Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure budgetary oversight of headcount, hiring, and travel
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly MIS
  • Serve as a contact point for stakeholders & team members helping them navigate through firmwide resources
  • Drive training & people development agenda across organization
  • Coordinate communication strategy across the organization
  • Support resiliency management
  • Identify and assess opportunities for process optimization in the Team and across EMEA LEC
  • Partner closely with Digital Innovation Team supporting development of new tools

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • An innovative and creative mindset with the ability to challenge existing ways of working/thinking
  • Growth mindset, flexibility, and eagerness to upskill
  • Innovation and change management skills are essential. An eye for process improvement, and a mindset to innovate / change
  • Possessing a ‘delivery mindset’ and comfortable taking ownership to ‘get things done’
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with project management, including proactive needs analysis and setting up new processes
  • Experience in providing MIS and liaising with various stakeholders against competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx strongly preferred.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge Tableau/Confluence/Signavio would be an asset
  • Knowledge of applying information management and technology controls frameworks preferred
  • Background in finance and reporting/controls preferred
