ABOUT THE ROLEFever is looking for a Legal Intern to join its Legal, GRC & Policy Team for Summer 2024, to be based in Madrid. We’re seeking an open-minded, problem-solver who is looking to learn about legal practice in an environment where all our work has cross-border implications.As a Legal Intern, you will deal with law-related issues across various business units at Fever. You will have the opportunity to learn real-world, practical legal skills in a structured internship, with access to in-house legal subject matter experts from around the world.Fever Legal Interns are valued members of the team, and provide key support to our Legal, GRC, and Policy Teams, learning to handle legal tasks such as:
- Drafting / revising all types of commercial contracts, and providing support to other departments in their commercial negotiations.
- Researching, reviewing and drafting consumer-facing policies, terms and conditions.
- Conducting legal research across a range of practice areas, including to support the team’s work on Fever’s expansion into new markets and service diversification.
- Taking responsibility for knowledge and document management.
- Supporting ongoing compliance functions for the global group.
- Supporting administrative legal tasks.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
- Looking to learn through experience.
- An excellent student with an excellent academic record -past exposure to foreign legal systems is a plus.
- A team player and an effective communicator.
- Fluent in English – other languages a plus, especially Portuguese (although we work across many more languages!)
- Available to work in Madrid over summer 2024, full time (with start / end dates negotiable).
- Currently enrolled in a postgraduate college degree / masters program of law at a Spanish university.
