Since 2020 Applijon Biotechnology B.V, a world leader in high-performance bioreactor systems is part of the GETINGE Group, and has expanded its products portfolio in the Life Sciences pursuing its development and confirming its determination to become the world’s largest company in the Med Tech sector.

Geting provides its customers with solutions for laboratory cell culture and large-scale vaccine production.

We are looking for a: 


Geographic coverage: France/ Preferred location: Near a major metropolis

Open-ended contract to be filled immediately

Approx 80% travel / 20% Home-office

Reporting to the Sales Director DACH/BN, France, LatAm/SE you will be responsible for selling bioreactor systems to our accounts in the pharmaceutical and Life Science industries.

Supported on a daily basis by a team of products experts, and working in a technical and complex sales environment, you will manage strategic projects with the aim of positionning the bioprocessing business as the market leader, alongside the other ranges in the Life Science Division*.

  • The Life Science Division offers a complete range of equipment, technical expertise and consulting services to prevent contamination in the following areas.
  • Production of pharmaceutical products and medical devices 
  • Laboratories
  • Medical research

The potential market is worth €2 billion, with expected growth of between 3% and 5% per year ( with a market growth of bioprocessing between 10% and 15% per year) 

The Life Science Division’s products are manufactured in France, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Your missions:

  • Prospect your sector, evaluate existing and future sales opportunities, identify decision-making channels and anticipate calls for tender,
  • Analyse/consolidate your customers’ needs in collaboration woth project teams and plant/aplication experts,
  • Define the best offer and sales strategy according to set objectives,
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful completion of customer projects ( from quotation to customer payment),
  • Promote and carry out the sales with customers negotiating system configurations prices and commercial conditions,
  • Build customer loyalty through formalized, effective follow-up and regular visits,
  • Carry out product demonstrations for customers or prospects,
  • Reprensent the Life Science division in your sector ( trade shows, conferences, etc)

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the Pharmaceuticals or Life Science industries, plus a degree in biotechnology,
  • Knowledfe of biology and/ or microbiology and/or bioprocess technology required,
  • Sound knowledge of medical research methodologies and protocolas applicable in research laboratories,
  • You know how to switch between different equipment sales cycles ( short/ long cycles, tendering processes),
  • At ease in prospecting and results/ customer-oriented, you are also undeniably recongnized for you commercial qualities and your negotiations skills, 
  • Fluent English essential to facilitate your exchanges with our Swedish Life Science Division, the factory based in Holland and certain key accounts, French requested,
  • Agile, ambitious, flexible and driven by the technical nature of the projects entreusted to you, you know how to explain and convinve your contacts.
