En juist dat maakt werken bij de Prysmian zo uitdagend!Voor ons Management Team en de afdeling Logistics in Eindhoven zijn wij op zoek naar eenLogistics ManagerAls Logistics Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het nauwkeurig plannen en coördineren van inkomende en uitgaande goederenstromen. De nadruk ligt hierbij op de leveringen van ons eindproduct optische glasvezel aan zowel interne als externe klanten en het tijdig beschikbaar stellen van grondstoffen, machineonderdelen en halffabricaten voor onze productieprocessen. Je zorgt ervoor dat de fabriek continu kan draaien met een gezonde voorraad eindproducten, grondstoffen en reserveonderdelen.Jouw belangrijkste taken

• Je geeft leiding aan het team voor planning, logistiek en magazijnen, dat bestaat uit ongeveer 10 FTE.
• Je coördineert de planning van leveringen aan ons wereldwijde klantenbestand, daarbij zorg je voor een uitstekend klantenserviceniveau in samenwerking met het verkoop- en klantenserviceteam.
• Je zorgt samen met de warehouse manager voor tijdige beschikbaarheid van grondstoffen en reserveonderdelen, zodat onderbrekingen in de productie worden voorkomen.
• Je beheert schone en gezonde voorraadniveaus van grondstoffen, halffabricaten en eindproducten.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de voortdurende verbetering van logistieke processen, waardoor kostenefficiëntie wordt geoptimaliseerd.
• Je bent nauw betrokken bij het S&OP-proces (Sales and Operation Planning) en houdt toezicht op de intercompany uitwisseling van materialen die cruciaal zijn voor het productieproces;
• Je stemt regelmatig af met het commerciële team en de geïntegreerde BU over de vraag naar producten en volgt voortdurend de leveringsprestaties.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor trade compliance en luchtvrachtbeveiliging op fabrieksniveau.
• Je ondersteunt het supplychain team van het hoofdkantoor bij de inkoop en distributie van optische vezelstromen van derden.

Waar kom je terecht?Je gaat aan de slag in een gemotiveerd team en geeft leiding aan de afdeling planning en de warehouse manager, daarbij onderhoudt je korte lijnen naar elke andere afdeling in een hoogwaardige productieomgeving waar wij optische glasvezels maken.Als Manager Logistics maak je deel uit van het lokale managementteam en rapporteer je aan de Plant Director.Als Manager Logistics bij Prysmian

• Beschik jij over een Master of gelijkwaardige ervaring in logistiek / supply chain management.
• Heb jij minimaal minimaal 2+ jaar ervaring in supply chain planning / logistiek.
• Wij hechten waarde aan eerdere ervaring in people management en uitstekende leiderschapsvaardigheden.
• Heb je kennis van Nederlands en Engels, zowel in woord als geschrift.
• Ben je in het bezit van een VCA-VOL certificaat, of bereidt deze te behalen.
• Ben je in het bezit van Security Manager Luchtvracht certificaat, of bereidt deze te behalen.
• Heb je ervaring met BI en ERP Systemen (bij voorkeer SAP).
• Ben je bekend met handelsnaleving en verzenddocumentatie.

You are responsible for accurately planning and coordinating incoming and outgoing goods flows. The focus is on the deliveries of our end product, optical fiber, to both internal and external customers and the timely availability of raw materials, machine parts, and semi-finished products for our production processes. You ensure that our factory can continuously operate with a healthy stock of end products, raw materials, and spare parts.Your main tasks

• You lead the planning, logistics, and warehouse team, which consists of approximately 10 FTE.
• You coordinate the planning of deliveries to our global customer base, ensuring an excellent customer service level in collaboration with the sales and customer service team.
• Together with the warehouse manager, you ensure the timely availability of raw materials and spare parts to prevent production interruptions.
• You manage clean and healthy stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and end products.
• You are responsible for the continuous improvement of logistics processes, optimizing cost efficiency.
• You are closely involved in the S&OP process (Sales and Operation Planning) and oversee the intercompany exchange of materials crucial for the production process.
• You regularly coordinate with the commercial team and the integrated BU on product demand and continuously monitor delivery performance.
• You are responsible for trade compliance and air freight security at the factory level.
• You support the headquarters’ supply chain team in the procurement and distribution of optical fiber flows from third parties.

Where will you work?You will work in a motivated team and lead the planning department and the warehouse manager, maintaining close lines of communication with every other department in a high-quality production environment where we manufacture optical fibers. You are part of the local management team and report to the Plant Director.Requirements

• You have a master’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics/supply chain management.
• You have at least 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning/logistics.
• We value previous experience in people management and excellent leadership skills.
• You hold a VCA-VOL certificate or are willing to obtain it.
• You hold a Security Manager Air Freight certificate or are willing to obtain it.
• You have experience with BI and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• You are familiar with trade compliance and shipping documentation.
• You have knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
