Position overview

As a Logistics Lead , you will provide leadership to Warehouse & Logistic Specialists and oversee the operational execution of distribution activities. Responsibilities include ensuring timely creation of shipping documents, arranging transport, handling damages in transit, and managing customs and export compliance activities specific to Norway.

Responsibilities
-Provide leadership to the Logistic Specialists and Warehouse team.
-Lead operational execution of distribution activities.
-Be responsible for the timely an accurate creation of shipping documents, arrangement of transport, handling of damages in transit – to ensure prompt, accurate and cost-efficient supply.
-Be responsible for all customs and export compliance activities of plant(s) in scope.

Required skills and experience
-Advanced knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping and transportation.
-2 years of experience in managing teams or people.
-Experience in customs and trade compliance would be favorable.
-Demonstrated service-oriented attitude in various situations.
-Capacity to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
-Encouragement of innovative thinking and “out of the box” solutions.
-Fluent in English, preferably also Norwegian, with strong communication skills.
