The facility runs continuous production (24/5), ensuring efficiency and quality in its operations.Role Description
Our client is looking for a Shift Manager Logistics to lead a team of 20-25 employees in a three-shift system within the logistics department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring smooth logistics processes, and focusing on improving collaboration and work structures.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the logistics process (cheese reception, pre-processing, dispatch, and warehouses).
• Lead and manage a team of 20-25 employees.
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions for deviations or incidents.
• Participate in Daily Control Logistics and roll out the PCS structure.
• Manage staff planning and sick leave guidance.
• Implement WCOM methodology, lead improvement teams, and drive process improvements.
• Ensure clean and organized logistics departments, enforcing compliance with procedures.
• Collaborate with team leaders and various departments to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• HBO-level education (Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field).
• 3+ years of leadership experience in production and/or logistics (food industry is a plus).
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar improvement methods.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategy with daily operations and solve problems effectively.
