Job description
As the product Maintenance Project Manager, you manage the activities needed for quality improvement, production and field support and second sourcing for all released products. You are responsible for the follow up and resolution of field and production related issues as well as product updates. As the primary interface between all involved stakeholders, you organize the related communication & coordination to quickly and adequately solve issues or update our products.In this position you will report to the director program management and work closely together with the cinema reliability and escalated service team, the full R&D organization, operations, procurement and service.Key responsibilities
- Organize and own the change control board
- Assess, review, prioritize and follow up engineering changes with respect to value, risk, effort, … to minimize field and production disturbances.
- Actively manage (planning, cost, resources, validation, deliverables, …) initiatives and issues related to our (released) product portfolio
- Including obsolence, alternative sources, feature and / or technology updates …
- Identify potential resource conflicts and resolve / escalate where needed
- Provide status updates to relevant stakeholders (Project Management, BU management, procurement, operations, …)
- Update product requirements, specifications and / or test plans based on findings and lessons learned
- Define and maintain the data management framework for R&D
- Feedback learnings to NPI Project Managers to sustain the improvements
Your profile
- You have a master’s level of work and thought, ideally in a technical domain
- You combine this with 2 or more years of professional project management experience, ideally in a technical environment
- You have good analytical skills, are well-organized and like to take initiative
- You have good communication & presentation skills (written & spoken in English)
- Your stakeholder management skills enable to work cross-functionally & cross-culture
