Maintenance Supervisor | Schiphol, Netherlands
I’m looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to handle the maintenance operations at a busy international hotel near Schiphol. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will take full responsibility for maintaining the hotel’s facilities, ensuring everything runs smoothly to deliver a safe, comfortable, and seamless experience for guests. You will report directly to the Chief Engineer.

You will carry out daily maintenance tasks, coordinate preventive and reactive work, and liaise with external contractors when needed. The ideal candidate is experienced in hotel maintenance, technically strong, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Your Experience

* Previous experience in maintenance within a hotel, resort, or large facility
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
* Experience coordinating with contractors and managing maintenance tasks independently
* Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple projects efficiently
* Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
* Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements within hospitality

Your Responsibilities

* Perform hands-on maintenance tasks across all areas of the hotel
* Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and respond to repair requests promptly
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers for specialist maintenance or refurbishment projects
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
* Monitor maintenance budgets and report on operational performance
* Support the Chief Engineer and management team in planning upgrades or facility improvements
