Up to £50,000 depending on experience.

37.5 hours per week but would consider part time working, flexible working pattern

Based in Cambridge, with the option of hybrid working: office based for 2-3 days a week (or more if preferred), with the option of working from home around this.

The role

The Management Accountant will operate as part of the dynamic finance function, serving an exciting and impactful organisation.

The role will pull together the output from the operational finance team to ensure effective management reporting in all of its forms to support business units and support functions, across the breadth of the organisation.

Your skills

We are seeking a candidate who is qualified or working towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with previous experience at this level, and an understanding of management reporting and financial analysis.

The role requires a dynamic can-do mindset and a diverse set of skills and experience to ensure that the finance function fulfils its traditional purpose, as well as serving a wide variety of stakeholders from academics, university departments, case managers, funders, licensees, clients and the senior leadership team, amongst others.

Our ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills and a confident written and spoken style, allowing you to easily build productive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
