- To Lead and Develop Sesto MRP Buyers team
- To primarily focus on Material Availability identifying and executing the correct purchasing strategies
- To be a key partner for Procurement for Supplier Relationship Management
- To be a key point of contact for the Global Material Team and External Manufacturing
- To contribute and support to the execution of the Supply Chain Transformation agenda
- To continue to standardize and converge into Supply Chain archetypes
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / RESPONSABILITA’ PRINCIPALI
- Support transformation projects across all areas of supply chain including Supply Planning, logistics, distribution, and warehousing to modernize our supply chain
- Use knowledge of supply chain best practices, procedures, and technologies to identify areas of transformation opportunities and partner with IT to identify, design, and implement solutions
- Supports Procurements in carrying over programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery
- Lead data analysis and development of supply chain policies to meet overall business objectives
- Lead the strategy to maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Establishes and lead quarterly reviews to make sure the proper levels of inventory are maintained to optimize stocks quantities, stock values and obsolescence levels
- Analyze the long-term manufacturing plan and identify problem areas that impact the delivery to commitment
- It is the first escalation point of contact with the Network to help rebalancing stocks and solve criticalities with the Affiliates
- It is the first point of scalations for exception communication and resolution
- Supervise, evaluate and coach staff members
- Maintain relationships and contributes to negotiations with suppliers supporting the local Procurement
- Accountable for the Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
- Manage Lilly Sesto relationship with the Network to help rebalancing stocks and solve criticalities with the Affiliates
- Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials purchases
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Contributes to the Business Plan (BP) prep by leading and collating information related to forecasts, scrap materials info, standard cost definitions support and any relevant info material-related to this process
- Contributes to the E2E S&OP process by leading and collating the information related to forecasts of materials incoming, highlighting supply issues, and providing solutions
- In addition to those mentioned above, as assigned by supervisor/manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree
- English fluent
- Knowledge of SAP R/3, APO, Excel, Trackwise, etc
- APICS certification preferable
- Demonstrated ability to manage/own multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
- Fundamental understanding of Supply Chain basics
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a Team environment
- Problem solving, good attitude, results oriented
