Read more: .Reporting into the team Lead Apheresis Operations Southwest Europe the Manager, Patient Operations Apheresis is accountable to manage onboarding and on-going performance of Apheresis Centers used for BMS Clinical and Commercial Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell Therapies. This role will serve as the patient operations single point of contact for Apheresis Centers located within the designated region of EMEA. The Manager Patient Operations Apheresis will work cross functionally with a large set of stakeholders within the Cell Therapy Organization, at local, regional, and global levels managing mainly Italy and Greece and giving support to other apheresis managers in EMEA region.It is a field role based and regional travel up to 50% of time may be required.Key Responsibilities:Onboard and Manage Apheresis sites involved in clinical and commercial Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell Therapies as per launch plans and established processes, in collaboration with internal clinical and commercial teams for the assigned region(s)Develop and foster relationships with Apheresis Center Staff for assigned regionCollect VOC (Voice of Customer) and VOB (Voice of Business) feedback used for continuous operations improvementComply with applicable SOP’s and regulationsProvide Quality Systems support by participating in deviation activities and impact/investigation assessments for cell collection centers, as well as Change Controls and GxP documentation, as requiredClosely work and collaborate with Scheduling and Cell Therapy Operations, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Clinical & Commercial, Information Technology, Project Management teams and other internal business partners such as local affiliatesDeliver, manage and collaborate on local, regional, and global projects, as assignedManage rollout of process changes internally and to the assigned sites, as applicableEnsure data is accurately captured and consistent using the Information Systems and tools deployed within the organizationDevelop, monitor, and roll out KPIs and reporting tools.Qualification and Experience:Skills/Knowledge RequiredRequired Undergraduate Degree in Life SciencesRequired minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated environment either hospital or pharmaceutical/biotech industryMedical, scientific, and clinical knowledge as required for the area of responsibilityPrior customer facing role in pharmaceutical/biotech industryWritten and verbal fluency in Italian and English and an additional European languageHigh organization skills with ability to manage several tasks in parallel.Cross cultural awarenessAbility to travel up to 50%Ability to provide on-call emergency coverage during Sunday collections (5-6 Sundays per year)Preferred but not requiredExperience working in Cell Therapy, Apheresis or Stem Cell Transplant programsRegistered nurse (transplant nurse, apheresis nurse)Ability to manage and roll out local, regional, global projectsAdvanced degree in the Life Sciences or Engineering (e.g. MSc/MBA, Pharm D/PhD)Experience working with critical raw material suppliers or contract manufacturing organizations.#LI-REMOTEIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
