Within this department, your immediate team comprises four highly skilled scientists.You will lead the Quick Design team within the Product Design & Application department in Denmark. This department emphasizes theoretical and project-based work, collaborating with internal teams across the U.S. and Ireland, as well as with sales, commercial functions, and technical experts. The team plays a vital role in Human Health Biosolutions, supporting new product development and customer-driven projects while engaging closely with various stakeholders throughout the organization.In this role you’ll make an impact…… when you will oversee a team dedicated to rapidly developing dietary supplement solutions and evaluating new raw materials, particularly probiotics. Your leadership will ensure the team efficiently manages customer projects, develops innovative products, and collaborates on strain upscale and strain changes. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic planning, optimizing ways of working, and supporting the broader organization with technical expertise.In addition, some of your key tasks will include:

• Hiring, onboarding, and developing team members.
• Prioritizing and planning tasks for the Quick Design team in collaboration with the department manager.
• Overseeing customer projects and ensuring seamless coordination with sales and customers.
• Keeping tools and processes updated for designing dietary supplement products.
• Ensuring effective team involvement in strain upscale and strain modifications.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers and analysis teams, to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvements in the department’s processes.Who are we looking for?You should have a solid understanding of dietary supplements, product development, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to guide your team in a dynamic and evolving environment. Strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to prioritize effectively on behalf of your employees will be key to your success in this role.Additionally, we expect you to have the following background:

• Experience in leading teams in either the biotech, pharma, or food industry.
• A background in dietary supplements, ingredients for supplements, pharmaceutical development, fermentation, freeze-drying, or product development.
