Within our Generation & Transmission (PWR-T) Business Group, we deliver complex turnkey projects globally, shaping the future of energy infrastructure.We are looking for an experienced Manager – Project Management Project Operations PWR-T to lead and develop a team of project managers, ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects within our portfolio.HOW YOU WILL IMPACTAs Manager Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 25+ project managers, ensuring efficient resource allocation, professional development, and continuous improvement in project execution. You will play a key role in enhancing project management methodologies, optimizing performance, and driving strategic initiatives within the organization.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and manage a geographically distributed team of project managers.

• Recruit, develop, and retain top project management talent.

• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Drive change and improvements in project execution methodologies, i.e. our Project Model

• Manage performance, training, and career development of team members.

Project Management & Execution

• Provide strategic guidance and coaching to project managers to enhance project outcomes.

• Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and key deviations to senior management.

• Support resource planning, ensuring optimal use of project management capabilities.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Actively contribute to business strategy, improvement initiatives, and organizational development.

• Drive alignment between departments, project portfolios, and business objectives.

• Work closely with tender teams to provide input and review processes.

• Collaborate with manufacturing plants, operational teams, and other Nexans business units.

YOUR STARTING POINTWe seek a strong leader with a passion for project excellence and a strategic mindset. You should bring:

• Master`s degree (MSc, MBA, or similar) in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in project management within relevant industries (energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar).

• People management experience, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with an ability to manage large-scale projects (up to €1.5B).

• Ability to drive organizational change and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
