Job description
Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance ManagerKey Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage budgets and control costs related to maintenance and manufacturing engineering activities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Analyze data and generate reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and manufacturing engineering services.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure effective documentation of maintenance and manufacturing engineering activities.
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into the manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and / or maintenance
- Min. 5 years of experience in management & leadership
- Fluent English
- Strong demonstrated use of Microsoft Office, SAP is an advantage
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
