We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers interested in applying for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship in the development of light-mediated CO2 activation for the synthesis of carboxylic acids of pharmaceutical interest. The project will be carried out under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Massi and Dr. Graziano Di Carmine (University of Ferrara).After selecting eligible and motivated candidates by collecting their expressions of interest, the potential candidates will be contacted to collaboratively write a proposal on the aforementioned topic, with substantial support from the group.The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship presents an excellent opportunity to support career development and foster international collaboration. Applicants must be aware of the eligibility criteria within the MSCA. Furthermore, we have set June 15, 2025, as the deadline for the expression of interest due to the ERC deadline in late summer (September 10, 2025).Eligibility:

  • Must hold a PhD in chemistry/medicinal chemistry/chemical biology, with knowledge and experience in organic synthesis.
  • Has a strong publication record.
  • Demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Meets MSCA requirements.
