Job Description:Your Work ContextJan De Nul Group has been focusing for many years on specific offshore services for the renewable energy market. Broadly speaking, these services can be divided as follows: seabed intervention works, rock installation and ballasting, installation of offshore wind farms and of submarine cables and umbilicals. For the Offshore Energy department we are looking for a Market Analyst.Do you want to be part of a team that helps shape the transition to renewable energy? As a Market Analyst at Jan De Nul Group you will have the opportunity to use your analytical skills to support our strategic recommendations and contribute to the growth of our offshore energy services.Your responsibilities are:
- Provide advice for optimizing the company’s position in the industry. Your analytical skills are crucial here.
- Record innovative developments and customer needs in the offshore energy market.
- Develop and maintain notebooks, dashboards and visualizations with Python (e.g. Plotly, matplotlib) to make complex data insightful.
- Working with large data sets and turning them into valuable insights through data analysis and visualization.
Monitoring Jan De Nul’s position in the market through relevant data tools and identifying trends and patterns.Your RoleProfileYou have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Business Engineering and have experience/interest in business development. Experience with automation and data visualization in Python is a plus. You have an interest in the company and its activities.
