The Marketing Manager leads the EMEAI Marketing team in developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy. The Marketing Manager oversees external communication including press releases and corporate announcements.

JOB DUTIES
•    Plans, develops, and implements marketing messaging programs promoting business plans, management communications, and company products aligning with sales and business objectives
•    Partners with management, business units, sales, outside agencies, or other stakeholders for a united messaging strategy
•    Determines media placement decisions in collaboration with senior leadership
•    Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the marketing and communications function
•    Develops and/or determines marketing concepts for various campaigns impacting company online presence, internal websites, tradeshows, eCommerce, social media campaigns and other related marketing activities impacting brand awareness
•    Develops and monitors the Marketing and Communications budget in collaboration with Finance
•    Plans yearly advertising and public relations activities in collaboration with the Sales team 
•    Reviews the performance of all EMEAI marketing activities against key performance indicators (KPIs)
•    Performs additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or related field.
•    Five (5) years of professional experience in Marketing and Communications including Digital Marketing and Business to Business (B2B) Marketing (trade shows, lead generation…)
•    Experience leading a team to implement digital marketing campaigns using automated marketing software such as Hubspot, Salesforce or other tools such as Google Analytics.
•    Excellent communications skills including fluency in written and oral English to create public corporate messages for a US corporation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Masters in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field.
•    Seven (7) years of experience in Marketing and Communications
•    Knowledge of other European languages such as Spanish, French, or German

•    Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
•    Must be flexible regarding working hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
•    Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Ensures that staff is contributing at maximum potential through rigorous hiring practices and an emphasis on training and development initiatives, including coaching and counseling direct reports in their performance and professional development, for approving the proposal of pay increases, hiring decisions and disciplinary actions.
•    Emphasizes ethical leadership and decision-making to protect Peli’s and Pelican’s brand and reputation.
•    Establishes challenging, productive and achievable goals for direct reports; measure results by establishing checkpoints to track progress.
•    Must be able to travel, nationally and internationally, as necessary.
