The Position
As marketing manager, you will play a key role in setting the commercial strategic direction of the affiliate within the obesity therapy area. You will be leading the cross-functional brand team to shape and execute the obesity marketing strategy in order to achieve short- and long-term business objectives and maximize the potential of our obesity brand/portfolio. This position is a people manager role with 2 direct reports.

Your other responsibilities will be to:

-Implement data-driven marketing strategies to personalize customer engagement, develop and implement strategic and tactical plans of the obesity brand/portfolio, translate strategy into successful execution by setting specific and measurable objectives.
-Communicate marketing strategy, brand positioning and key messages to the internal stakeholders to ensure organizational alignment, ensure successful execution of marketing plans by co-working with cross-functional brand team and field team on challenges, risks, objectives and outcomes.
-Assess market dynamics and trends, evaluate product performance and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adapt strategy and plans to achieve targets and to guide future oriented strategies. 
-Evaluate consumer behavior and leverage customer insights from healthcare professionals to make informed decisions and adapt marketing strategies, utilize advanced analytics to identify emerging market trends and identify opportunities for growth, adopt fast moving approach and apply agile learnings.
-Manage and allocate the marketing budget to maximize impact and ensure a high return on investment, prepare marketing forecasting and budgeting by using analytics and data sources, track sales volume, revenue and cost against forecasts.
-Develop, coach and empower team members and create a high performing team as well as healthy and engaged environment.
Qualifications
You should hold bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Pharmacy, Science or a Business Management related discipline with minimum 5 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Consumer health and/or FMCG experience is a plus) with proven track record in brand management, product launches, marketing strategy development and execution. You’ re fluent in written and spoken English and Turkish with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with tailoring content to specific audiences. Further sought-after skills are:

-Leader with proven accountability, strong cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
-Strategic thinking and analytical skills with result-oriented and forward-looking focus
-Strong collaboration within business unit and across various functions 
-People management experience would be an asset but not mandatory
