Contract Type: Full-time, PermanentThe OpportunityOur client school in Milan is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Maths (and Science) Teacher to join its growing Middle and High School team from September 2025.The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and be capable of delivering engaging, rigorous lessons that combine academic content with real-world application. A background in experiential and project-based learning is highly desirable, and familiarity with the IB programme is considered a strong asset. Native-level English proficiency is essential, and additional Italian language skills would be advantageous.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach Mathematics and Science in English across Middle and High School levelsDesign and implement engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with curriculum objectivesPromote the schools mission and support students in becoming global citizensFoster a classroom environment where all students feel safe, heard, and inspired to participatePlan, assess, record, and report to support varied learning needs and ensure student progressMaintain high standards of behaviour and classroom managementCollaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiativesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and act as an ambassador for the schoolContribute to extracurricular programmes and wider school lifeSupport and follow school policies and maintain a commitment to professional developmentSupervise students during non-classroom activities and uphold safeguarding standardsQualifications & TrainingMasters Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related fieldQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international teaching qualificationCertified to teach Secondary School-aged studentsStrong command of English (native or C2 level); Italian a plusExperience with IB curriculum preferredExperience & SkillsProven success teaching Mathematics and/or Science in Middle and High School settingsExperience in international or bilingual schools preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsConfident classroom management and ability to inspire studentsCapable of leading initiatives and working collaboratively within a teamCommitted to safeguarding, equality, and student well-beingResilient, flexible, and highly organisedEagerness for continuous professional growthThe SchoolOur client is a long-established bilingual international school in Milan offering a dual-language (English/Italian) education from preschool through high school.
