This is a two year fixed term opportunity renewable subject to availability of funding.

The Role:

We are looking for someone who will provide insight on monitoring and evaluation for the ‘Improving Socio-Economic Status for Women, Youth and Marginalized Groups’ project under Ireland’s Civil Society Partnership (ICSP) for A Better World 2023-2027 programme. The job holder will be responsible for assisting partner management, coordination, monitoring and capacity building, reporting and budget management.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Experience of improving effectiveness of development programs and demonstrating tangible outcomes for poor and vulnerable women and men.
  •  Good understanding of all aspects of program quality, including the practical issues faced by managers.
  • Good understanding of effective program cycle management in rights-based long-term development, influencing and humanitarian work, with relevant direct field program experience
    •    Excellent personal communication skills. 
    •    A high level of self-awareness, initiative, sound judgement, personal energy and flexibility 
    •    Clear support and respect to gender equality and equity. 
    •    Ability to build a people’s movement around the program theme and inspire followership.
    •    Able to handle stress, leading by example and, thus, produce results, meet deadlines and make others to meet their deadlines. 
    •    Strategic and people management skills, supporting and mentoring the team in their professional and personal growth within an intercultural setting. 
    •    Experienced in proposal and report writing.
