Mission

• You manage equipment purchase and tendering by overseeing the purchase of mechanical equipment and spare parts, preparing technical requisition files, call for tender documents, and analyzing supplier bids.
• You lead qualification and testing through qualification studies and test campaigns to ensure that equipment meets the required specifications and standards.
• You provide technical assistance and expertise to customers, especially in valves, pumps, and valve actuators, ensuring the equipment is reliable and fit for its purpose.
• You oversee design and manufacturing, managing the detailed design and manufacturing process of mechanical equipment, working closely with the quality surveillance section and collaborating with the customer.
• You ensure safety and regulatory compliance by supporting technical discussions and meetings with safety authorities, ensuring all equipment and designs comply with safety standards and regulations

Profile

• You are a Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineer and valuable experience in the engineering sector.
• You are multilingual, fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with proficiency in French and Dutch, allowing effective communication in diverse environments.
• You have technical expertise in areas such as valve actuators, pumps, compressors, and mechanical equipment, including sizing, detailed design, and qualification through testing campaigns.
• You are experienced with 3D CAD Programs, and your knowledge of 3D CAD software helps you contribute effectively to design tasks and engineering activities.
• You excel in project management and negotiation, supporting the project manager and customer by participating in meetings, technical discussions, and negotiations with suppliers.
