Our client, Ballymooney Foods Limited t/a Wild Irish Game, based in Clane, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for immediate start for their facility at Clane Business Park, College Road, Clane, Co. Kildare, W91 PCPO. Qualifications: There are no minimum academic requirements. Training will be provided on-the-job. A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician is required. No formal qualifications are required for this role. General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience: To install, service and maintain machinery and equipment in an industrial setting To perform routine maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment To run diagnostics to find faults in systems or parts that need replacing To perform preventative maintenance on factory machinery Essential knowledge includes electrical wiring plans, electric, hydraulics, mechanics and pneumatics Candidates must be competent in conducting routine machinery checks, inspecting industrial equipment and performing tests Candidates must have previous experience in performing maintenance on installed equipment, resolving equipment malfunctions and troubleshooting Awareness of and competency to follow all relevant health and safety requirements is essential Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in a meat factory is a plus 2 years’ relevant experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician Minimum annual remuneration: €34k; Pay rate €16.77 per hour Location: Clane Business Park, College Road, Clane, Co.
