Mechanical Project Manager required for our client, a well-established mechanical engineering and building services. They have built a reputation within the Building Services Industry by delivering Design, Installation and Maintenance Services to both public and private sector markets.Mechanical Project Manager Position Remuneration

• £50,000 – £70,000 DOE
• Company Vehicle / Fuel Expenses

Mechanical Project Manager Position OverviewYou will be responsible for the management of the full project life cycle from start-up, through delivery, to project completion. Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed limits for time, cost and quality.The majority of projects are based in Billericay and Basildon, in and around the M25 and the Home Counties and from time to time you will also be required to travel further afield to cover projects across the South of England.

• Responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects
• Create and execute plans and work breakdowns/revisions as appropriate.
• Manage day-to-day project tasks
• Lead project meetings with clients, suppliers, and 3rd parties
• Communicate regular project updates internally and to clients
• Negotiate both internally and externally to resolve project risks and issues
• Manage project scope and change control
• Produce and maintain project initiation and management documents
• Provide consistent and reliable resourcing requirement
• Prepared to be hands on when required to ensure client satisfaction.
• Carry out full handover to client on project completion.
• 75% mechanical (which mainly comprises of commercial Heating, Domestics pipework distribution etc, but occasional HVAC projects) 25% electrical

Mechanical Project Manager Position Requirements

• Relevant qualifications – Prince2, SMSTS, CSCS Card (desirable)
• Considerable knowledge and experience of the full project life cycle and project management
• Previous Experience working on a variety of Commercial Mechanical sized projects
• 5 years’ experience working within a similar role
• Essex / London based
