Media and Communications Intern (INT10105)

The Role:

MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS

• Support in communications work in general with a focus on graphic design and visuals for communications products for the organization and projects
• Support administering Oxfam in Pakistan’s digital media
• Be responsible for photo-taking, and video recording at Oxfam Pakistan events
• Provide backup support in translation for video materials
• Provide backup support in communications related administrative tasks.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Essential

• Educational background and/or relevant experience in media, communications, social media, content creation, social sciences, international relations or any related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Commitment to humanitarian principles and action and commitment to Oxfam’s equal opportunity and gender policies, Oxfam’s aims and objectives.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable

• Experience of working on issues including disaster risk reduction, climate change, agriculture, education, good governance.
• Proficiency in Urdu.
• Prior experience of similar work with Oxfam
