The University of Surrey’s Wellbeing and Welfare department has a great opportunity for Mental Health Practitioners to join the team and contribute to the student experience.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for highly skilled mental health professionals with experience in supporting those with complex mental health needs. 

Our well-established service is on a journey through an exciting period of transformation and you will work within a committed and supportive multi-disciplinary team made up of mental health nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, eating disorder therapists and counsellors. 

 As part of the role you will: 

  •  Play a lead role in supporting the service and the wider University to offer proactive and compassionate mental health support to our entire student and staff community.
  • Work with the Wellbeing team to develop a service to meet the changing needs of students with mental health concerns to bring about evidence based improvements to the service provision.  

We are happy to consider applications from recent graduates with a current membership of the NMC/Social Work England/HCPC.
