Job description
We currently have a vacancy for a Mobile Developer (Embedded Programming) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Ispra, Italy. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:
- Development and maintenance of digital infrastructure for browser and mobile app automation, using frameworks such as Playwright or Appium;
- Development and maintenance of software for Android systems and ARM based servers, including for the deployment and instrumentation of mobile applications, and low level android debugger/reverse engineering operation;
- Development of solutions for digital forensics and reverse engineering of mobile and web applications;
- Participate in data science projects, taking responsibility for web and mobile application analysis and development tasks;
- Participation in project update and review meetings and other meetings with project stakeholders, as well as preparation of project documentation.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience carrying out digital forensics, network analysis and software reverse engineering, either for mobile or web applications;
- Experience in low level software development and debugging on android and ARM based platforms;
- Familiarity with low-level programming languages (C / C++, assembly);
- Thorough understanding of the android mobile ecosystem and ideally, understanding of modern web application architectures;
- Understanding of system administration and networking and ability to carry out network traffic analysis;
- Familiarity with security protocols and cryptographic techniques, including software signing as well as methods web traffic;
- Familiarity with fundamental principles of operating systems (user/kernel space, memory management, etc.);
- Familiarity with reverse-engineering approaches;
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security testing, fluency with Git;
- Excellent command of the English language.
