Overview:As National Account manager, responsible for building and managing the relationship with Lidl (net revenue €27m) within the Hard Discount (HD) channel. Owning the account which is of significant strategic importance for the MU in the years to come, delivering on the 30% year-on-year growth ambition and a significant share of the NL BU growth. The main purpose of the role is to drive next wave of growth with Lidl by collaborating on ideation, creation and execution with the customer and internally with wide spectrum of stakeholders (both local and sector).Requring, a strong sales transformation mindset to drive growth in an entrepreneurial way within our complex matrix structure and within the external complexity of Discount vs Food Open Markets as well as within the international context that those retailers are operating in. Succeeding in this account is key in realizing Hard Discount/Non-Food Retail channels short- and long- term plans. Responsibilities:
- Leads development and implementation of the Annual Sales Plan for all food categories with Lidl.
- Support the team with banner negos and leads HQ negos for Lidl internally and externally.
- Delivers the agreed annual Sales objectives on Volume, Net Sales, GP, Trade Investments for total food with securing Pricing, Traditional Trade compliance and improvements and locking Commercial Calendar (New Product Development, Promo Strat and PS Must Win Battle’s) in VA and CC’s.
- Negotiate and close CDA’s (in cooperation with Channel lead to deliver targeted results which are aligned with the customer plan)
- Builds Customer plan (in cooperation with Channel Lead) and leads implementation of the Customer Plan
- Staff, onboard, train & retain the Customer Team with high caliber talent.
- Partners with Sector Commerial Team on Nego / other priorities
Qualifications:
- Independently manage local for portfolio decisions and sell at HQ level (for annual negotiations)
- Wiring and indirect influencing within Sector HD team
- Entrepreneurial drive for new business and channel
- Wiring within accounts and managing relationship between customer and PEP leaders
- Sr acc man skills managing multi account day to day and support tough nego’s internationally
- Transformational commercial capabilities to build new growth opportunities in collaboration and align internal stakeholders
- Indirect influencing skills, managing from strategy to execution in the complex setting of HD vs FOM differentiation strategy. Needs great flexibility and persistence in a balanced way
- Seniority in managing the importance and consequent pressure, because Discount is essential to grow the business
