Would you like to help give children in Odense a stronger connection to nature and be a co-creator of 12 magical nature experiences in your local area?If you would like to volunteer and participate in a nature patrol, there are great opportunities for you! Nature patrols create a community around nature and give children the opportunity to experience it with their own senses. Here are some key points: * Volunteer tasks:
- You don’t need to know everything about nature. Your most important task is to help get more children out into nature.
- The nature patrol runs 10-12 times (approximately 2 times a month for 6-8 months).
- The team of volunteers distributes tasks themselves, with support from the project manager.
- You commit to the tasks you choose and to one nature patrol at a time.
- Support and tools:
- As a volunteer in a nature patrol, you will receive lots of support.
- The project manager and other volunteers are ready to help.
- You are offered a mediator course where nature education for children is the focus.
- Little Firebird course:
- You will be offered a small firebird course that gives you a basic introduction to nature education for the target group.
- The course focuses on the inspiration material for conducting nature patrols.

- Whether you want to volunteer in an existing nature patrol or help start a new one, you can contact Bjarke. Kalvebod has already been running for a little over a year and there are children for another round.
