Location: Lucena Clinic, Child & Adolescent Mental Health ServicesInitial Base: Lucena Clinic has locations in Rathgar, Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Wicklow Town. The initial location of vacancies for the July 2024 are still to be decided.Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.NON-CONSULTANT HOSPITAL DOCTOR(s) IN PSYCHIATRY(SHO(s) / REGISTRAR(s))LUCENA CLINIC CAMHSJULY 2025 – JANUARY 2026Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are now inviting applications for the post of Non-Consultant Doctors in Psychiatry (SHO and Registrar level). The successful candidate(s) will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.Role SummaryThis post will be in the area of child and adolescent mental health. The post is an ideal opportunity if you are interested in enhancing a career in psychiatry and expanding your experience by working in a top class clinical and academic environment. You will be well supported by multidisciplinary colleagues.Minimum Requirements· A degree in medicine is a basic requirement.· All applicants must be currently registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).· At least 1 year’s previous experience in psychiatry is essential.· Experience of working in CAMHS is desirable.· Experience of working in the Irish health care system is desirable.· Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria with regard to immigration status, English language skills and the minimum educational entry criteria for the speciality and level as set out in the specification.RemunerationSalary Grade 1012 (Senior House Officer) and 1538 (Registrar) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale€53,666 – €74,280 per annum pro rataInitial locationLucena Clinic has locations in Rathgar, Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Wicklow Town. The initial location of these vacancies are still to be decided. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
