The participant will assist and gain practical experience in the following: • Pick and pack customer orders accurately based on pick ticket information. • Carry out receiving incoming shipments, checking for accuracy, and storing items in their proper locations. • Replenishing stock to pick locations. • Inventory cycle counting • Inspecting and processing returned items to stock or quarantine • Operating pick at height equipment. • Assemble and kitting to stock and to orderRole Description The participant will receive formal/ informal training in the following This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. The participant will receive formal/informal training and mentoring in the following: Formal Training: Formal WPEP QQI Work Experience Module Health & Safety in the workplace. The participant will be supported in any other training needs identified.
