Part Qualified Trainee – Corporate International Transfer Pricing TaxDepartment: Tax (Direct)Employment Type: Full TimeLocation: DublinDescriptionBDO Ireland are currently seeking a Part-Qualified Tax Trainee to join our Corporate International Transfer Pricing g Team (referred to as “CIPT”) with our Dublin Tax Advisory Department.As a Part-Qualified Trainee you will be assisting with the compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients, researching EU and other international tax related developments, and gaining experience in advisory work for international tax and transfer pricing projects.At BDO, we celebrate individuality and encourage you to bring your true self to work.   • Assisting with the compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients (primarily corporates)
  • Researching for tax advice on cross border and local Irish tax matters
  • Reporting directly to members of the senior tax management group and tax partners
  • Interpreting legislation and identifying precedent
  • Researching and identifying tax planning issues and opportunities for clients
  • Researching EU and other international tax related developments
  • Liaising with other departments to plan and provide professional tax advice
  • Supervision, development and mentoring of tax trainees

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • ACA/ACCA/and/or CTA Part-Qualified.
  • ADIT Qualification/Part Qualification (Beneficial but Not a Requirement.
  • Strong Academic Background: A solid academic record, particularly in relevant fields such as accounting, finance, or taxation, is required.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: The ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders is essential.
  • Strong Technical Skills.
  • Commercially Minded: Candidates should have an understanding of business operations and be able to assist with providing tax advice that aligns with commercial objectives.
  • Ambitious: The ideal candidate is highly motivated, eager to learn, and driven to progress in their career.
