Role: Partner Broker SupportWe have a fantastic opportunity to join the Aviva GI Sales & Distribution BDM team. You will support aligned senior Business Development Managers in delivering on the key objectives of the Aviva GI Sales team.This role can be based in our Dublin or Cork office and adheres to Aviva’s hybrid working policy.Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will work in collaboration with Aviva GI Business Development Managers on their aligned portfolio of Key Partner and Partner brokers, supporting and delivering key objectives including attending broker meetings where required.
  • As a Partner Broker Support you will build strong working relationships with senior Business Development Managers to support their brokers.
  • You will be responsible for proactively managing a pipeline for retention with select Key Partner & Partner brokers for premiums up to €25,000 while working collaboratively with the senior Business Development Manager.
  • Provide aid and support the delivery of all growth and retention activities i.e. Sales Campaigns, and will provide e-mail/telephone support for our Key Partner and Partner brokers.
  • Development of presentations for Key Partner and Partner broker review meetings.
  • Assist your aligned senior Business Development Managers to maximise opportunities to secure new business, retain existing business and provide a class leading broker service.
  • You will attend new business, renewal & team meetings and contribute where possible provide feedback on any key renewal or new business cases within your remit in addition to supporting the BDM on key new business prospects or renewal accounts.
  • You will create and develop a weekly call plan to create, engage and develop relationships with brokers.
  • Develop your skills and understanding of Sales Effectiveness, including opportunity development, pipeline management, account planning, relationship management.
  • Work collaboratively with a number of key functions including underwriting, trading, product, claims and marketing teams on campaigns to drive activities and deliver great customer outcomes.

Skills & Experience required

  • Attention to detail, assertiveness, tenacity and integrity.
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and agile, capable of finding solutions to challenging situations.
  • The ability to carry out the role in a hardworking manner, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, displaying strong interpersonal skills.
  • You will be adept in the use of PowerPoint & Excel and in the creation & delivery of professional presentations.
  • Working towards or have completed a relevant insurance qualification (CIP) (Desirable).
  • Sales support experience would be ideal for this role but not essential.
