The Programme Development and Partnership Administrator role is based in the busy and vibrant Programme Development Team. The role will play a crucial part in essential administrative support to the team, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective management of documentation. This involves contributing to the overall efficiency of the team’s operations and facilitating seamless collaboration and coordination in the pursuit of programme development and partnerships.

MAP:

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. We have been the leading INGO responding to the current crisis in Gaza and are looking to increase our capacity to meet the urgent needs.

Main responsibilities

  1. Support the Programme Development team to ensure all documentation is accurately recorded and kept up to date in the CRM and other tracking systems:
    1. This includes documents such as the: Grants Tracker, Contacts Lists, Monthly Reporting, Resource Space. Also includes logging/saving all MOUs/ Grant Agreements/ issuing receipts/ thank you letters
  2. Support the timely delivery of all reporting requirements- including setting up reminders on all teams calendars and following up
  3. Saving all report formats and sharing with relevant team members
  4. Conduct self-directed research and work with third-party researchers as necessary to identify prospects and maintain the funder pipeline across restricted funders.
  5. Supporting the Programmes Development Team with submitting Due Diligence documentation for bids- as well as completing Due Diligence on potential income.

Person Specification

Essential

  1. Experience of effective, accurate and timely administration
  2. Highly organised, responsible, and flexible; ability to maintain responsibility for multiple administration tasks in the context of a fast-paced work environment
  3. Experience in using and maintaining a CRM
  4. Experience of working in a charity / NGO
  5. Excellent writing skills
  6. Knowledge of the political and conflict situation in oPt
  7. Experience with working with multicultural teams
  8. Experience in investigating, collating, summarising, and disseminating research
  9. Experience in writing and presenting cases for support, letters, and reports
  10. Experience in using prospect targeting and research either through directories, databases or third parties

Desirable

  1. Experience in fundraising and/or project/programme coordination experience in related fields such as international development, governance, research, or public sector
  2. Experience and knowledge of basic project cycle management, as well as a basic understanding of budgeting
  3. Experience securing grants from Trusts and Foundations or Institutional funders
  4. Experience in building or managing a funding pipeline
