Job description

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in ongoing internal process improvements to enhance payroll operations and accuracy.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple regions,
• Ensure compliance with global payroll policies and relevant local labor and tax laws,
• Identify and lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, compliance, and productivity across regions
• Support the development of the payroll team to ensure operational excellence and foster talent growth.
• Manage payroll projects across multiple departments within established timeframes and budgets.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all payroll, employee, and proprietary information, ensuring secure handling of sensitive data.

Required skills:

• 7-10 years of relevant payroll experience within a complex, global organization
• 2-3 years of experience in managing a small payroll team
• Fluency in English and German (both oral and written)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with complex payroll requirements.
• Expertise in process redesign and efficiency improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex payroll information clearly to all organizational levels.
• Experience managing third-party payroll service providers.
• Proficiency in systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors ext.
• Experience in payroll system implementations
