DAZN is hiring for a People Advisor to join our fast-paced and newly formed France business, delivering sport to our fans in the French market.
Our France team is going through a fast scale up, this role will be key in providing local HR expertise to support this growth including areas like French employment law, establishing a work council and supporting workforce planning.
We are looking for someone who has a solid generalist background and expertise in France employment law and HR matters. You will be comfortable being part of a fast-paced and dynamic team, ideally with experience working across a similar Broadcast, Media, Sports or Technology business to be comfortable supporting the relevant challenges that will arise.
This will be a 6 month Fixed Term Contract or Consultancy agreement and can be based remotely within France or work on a hybrid basis from our Paris office.
As our new People Advisor for France you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Proactively work with the People Partner within DAZN to ensure the local People Plan Initiatives are embedded as part of our France growth.
- Support the talent management and recruitment process to ensure compliance with French law.
- Provide reliable advice on employee relations, contractual and HR issues in line with the local terms and conditions of employment ensuring a pragmatic business and best practice approach.
- Support and coach managers to effectively drive team engagement and ensure compliance with French law.
- Establish a works council in France.
You’ll have:
- A broad understanding of different aspects of HR, including very strong knowledge of French employment law.
- Experience in adopting appropriate HR strategies that support the business agenda.
- Ability to communicate effectively, succinctly and professionally to all levels of people – including fluent French and English.
- Customer driven, collaborative with a hands-on approach and the proven ability of identifying pragmatic business focused solutions to problems whilst recognising risks and implications of suggested actions.
- Confident self-starter able to work independently as well as effectively as part of a global HR team.
- Strong organisational capability, able to prioritise and delegate to meet deadlines and to manage diverse work.
- Strong MS Office and IT literacy with the proven ability to create and deliver workshops and presentations.
