HR PEOPLE OPERATIONS TRAINEEThe Human Resources Operations Trainee supports the objectives of the People & Culture Department (Human Resources Department). The function should be supportive, hands-on, methodical, and business focused; creating memorable moments for our employees, taking ownership for assigned activities whilst collaborating closely with their immediate report and key business partners to deliver quality results. The job incumbent acts as an ambassador for HR, reflecting the company culture and values. All work is carried out in accordance with company corporate policies, procedures, and service concepts according to local requirements and regulations.Responsibilities1. Maintaining and verifying HR systems accuracy to ensure optimal performance and functionality, providing administrative support when required.2. Collaborate with colleagues to maximize the employee service and the team experience, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.3. Upkeeping employee records and files in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.4. Registering enrolments, disenrollments and data modifications in different benefit plans and in company tools.5. Providing first-level support and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and programs. HR inquiries are responded via a ticket system, or chat, and complex or sensitive issues should be escalated to the Manager, Shared Services.6. Any other HR task that is assigned by the team.7. The above is not exhaustive and may be modified and amended in line with the responsibilities of this role at any time.Competence & skills requirements

  • To be enrolled in a school program to be eligible for the internship
  • “Yes I Can!” spirit
  • Proficiency in English and French, Flemish is a plus
  • Pro-active with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to manage workload ensuring that tasks assigned are delivered
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within the department
  • Flexible for occasional travel abroad
  • Autonomy and high feeling of responsibility
