We are seeking a Global Tech Controller to join our team in a newly created role. Reporting directly to the Tech & Digital Reporting Controller, this position is crucial for the effective management and monitoring of Tech costs and performance. This central role combines the continuity of our existing financial steering with a significant focus on building and implementing a new controlling model. The position is intended to manage the operational Tech controlling (closings/reporting/budget) and to contribute to the implementation of the new model. You will play a key role in structuring our division, optimizing financial processes, and financially evaluating strategic projects. You will work closely with Tech managers to ensure reliable financial information and credible forecasts.

-Closings and Reporting Management:

-Oversee monthly and annual accounting closings, including preparing accrual entries.
-Generate financial reports compliant with Group formats and deadlines.
-Ensure the quality and timeliness of all closings.
-Monitor and analyze Tech Capex and Opex.
-Manage intercompany re-billings.
-Conduct analyses and provide essential commentary.

-Tech Budget and Forecast Management:

-Actively participate in constructing budgets and revised forecasts, collaborating with Tech managers.
-Review and challenge assumptions with Tech managers to ensure forecast credibility.
-Ensure timely data submission according to Group-defined formats and deadlines.

-Tech Cost Control and Monitoring:

-Ensure reliable financial data and cost visibility.
-Ensure strict adherence to Tech expenditure commitment and validation procedures.
-Supervise and validate commitments and expenditures.
-Provide necessary tools for cost monitoring and enhancing Tech financial transparency.
-Proactively propose cost-saving initiatives and alert on potential overruns.
-Use time-tracking information for invoicing and analysis.

-Tech Performance:

-Monitor key Tech Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their economic impacts.
-Contribute to improving the visibility and transparency of Tech financial data.

-Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:

-Implement optimized processes to enhance administrative task efficiency.
-Contribute to file rationalization, improving financial data quality, and developing analysis tools.
-Actively participate in the continuous improvement of financial tools.

-Minimum 4 to 5 years of proven experience in IT controlling or a similar financial role.
-Strong understanding of financial challenges within an IT environment.

-Advanced proficiency in Excel (data reporting, pivot tables) is essential. SAP expertise is a plus.
-Expertise in financial modeling and consolidation.
-Autonomous and Rigorous

-Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail.

-Fluent English required (written and spoken).
