You are sensitive to cultural differences and are available 5 days a week.If this describes you, we would really like to meet you soon!The teamOur Global Infrastructure domain is responsible for delivering and managing a cohesive and resilient Global Infrastructure ecosystem that encompasses Hybrid Cloud (Private/Public), Data Centres, Networking, and Middleware capabilities, enabling seamless integration and optimized performance to support the organization’s strategic goals and operational needs.The opportunityBased in Amsterdam, the Personal Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial support to the Head of Global Infrastructure, who is part of the management team of the Chief Technology Officer for ING. Managing a complex agenda within a demanding environment, the personal assistant will be responsible for making sure that Global Infrastructure is prepared in a variety of day-to-day activities.Roles and responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to Global Infrastructure including organizing, preparing, and scheduling meetings, and managing the agenda
- Assess priority, sensitivity and purpose of meetings, travel requests and day-to-day activities
- Respond to queries, arrange for the manager to respond to queries or forward queries to the appropriate person in the organization
- Issue reminders for appointments & follow-up action points
- Record, organize, and manage incoming and outgoing calls and written communication
- Assist in the execution of special projects, from research and planning to execution and follow-up
- Act as the main contact and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, clients and colleagues, professionally representing Global Infrastructure.
- Take care of the administrative handling of new staff/transfers/leavers, claiming expenses, iBuy and E-profit in accordance with existing compliance rules
- Provide organizational, logistical, general and technical support in relation to business travel, meetings, media, conferences, seminars, receptions and anniversaries
- Plan, coordinate and attend (corporate) events, managing logistics and liaising with internal/external stakeholders.
- Address and resolve issues effectively, exercising sound judgement and discretion in decision-making.
- Forming part of the larger Personal Assistant community, it will be expected to align ways of working with fellow personal assistants.

- You are an experienced Personal Assistant, with minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a secretarial/supporting role
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism.
- You are capable of working in a complex international and dynamic environment
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments, with a positive approach to challenges.
- Creative and resourceful in finding solutions and overcoming obstacles.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, fostering positive working relationships.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- You master the commonly used MS 365 and are willing to learn new tools when needed
