This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and regulatory knowledge to effectively deploy digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance.In this role, you will…Work on the deployment of digital solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other digital technologies, across multiple manufacturing sites.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables for digital solution deployments.Conduct site assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for digital solutions deployment, process improvements, and optimization.Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication, to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions on time and within budget.Provide technical expertise and guidance on digital solution architecture, configuration, and integration with existing manufacturing systems and equipment.Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities for digital solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, EU Annex 11, and GAMP 5.Lead training sessions for manufacturing personnel on the use of digital solutions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance requirements.Why YOU?Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.Proven experience in project management, technical deployment, or implementation of digital solutions within pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry.In-depth knowledge of digital technologies used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including MES, LIMS, eBRs, data analytics, and automation systems.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, guidelines, and standards governing digital solutions in a GMP environment, such as FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and GAMP 5.Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, from planning and execution to deployment and validation, within budget and timeline constraints.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and experience with project management software.Preferred Qualifications and Skills:Advanced degree or certification in project management or relevant technical field is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering results.Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as needed for project deployment and support activities.Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Job posting end date: Friday, May 24th.Why GSK?Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together – so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns – as an organisation where people can thrive.
