Offer DescriptionThe recruitment is for employment within the First Team project, which will be led by Professor Lukasz Sadowski. The project title is: Smart concrete production technologies based on waste blast furnace slag enriched with CO2 captured from industrial production for zero-emission construction (SPHERE). The project was funded by the FNP Foundation for Polish Science, with funding from the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG), and will last four years. The project’s budget is PLN 3,956,495.96 and has been covered 100% by the European Funds’ contribution. The phd student will assist in performing research and compiling results, preparing draft publicationsscientific publications. He/she will also assist students in laboratory work. He/she will promote the project mainly attrade fairs. He/she will attend several high quality training courses and conferences to present the results. We will expect the phd student 1 to have experience of laboratory work and knowledge of basic techniques, e.g. determination of concrete mix properties, hardened concrete properties, compressive strength.
