You will work with a highly experienced team of engineers who focus on developing complex offshore projects. A good Planning Engineer should have 3 main features: knowledge of planning techniques, experience in project management tools and software, and good knowledge of engineering projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the schedule for challenging projects or work packages. Working together with Project Managers and Cost Controllers, you ensure good development and approval of baseline schedules.What you will do:
- Coordinate planning activities for complex offshore projects
- Apply schedules from the proposal phase into the whole project scheme, to ensure a smooth development of the work
- Initiate and coordinate planning for each discipline, as well as offices and subcontractors
- Create and check up on schedules and forecasts along with Project Managers & Cost Controllers
- Report about the planning, schedule, and progress to the project team, management, and client
- Create project scenarios and mobilization plans
- Set up and progress CAPEX and R&M (port call, docking) schedules
- Create high-quality reports for publication, such as project bar charts, histograms, s-curves, and Earned Value reports

What you already have:
- +4 years of experience in planning and engineering offshore operations
- A MSc. or BSc. degree in Mechanical, Civil or Marine Engineering
- Experience with PrimaveraP6 and MS Project
- A solution-finding and hands-on approach, since you will be working in diverse projects at the same time
- A flexible mindset and communicative attitude, so you don’t get stuck in your own ideas and you communicate any changes or decisions to all parties involved
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team and clients worldwide
