Job Description:OverviewDevelop, recommend and execute plans and programs to manufacture products on time, efficiently, cost effective and within the agreed quality and Food Safety Standards that meet or exceed customer and consumer expectations.
ResponsibilitiesSPECIFICS:
- Definition and ownership of the BoL plant manufacturing strategy, investment agenda, productivity and annual priorities.
- Develop and deliver a people strategy to drive positive employee regard, strong front line capability and a KPI/continuous improvement culture. Demonstrate personal leadership on the people agenda through delivery of inspiring employee communication and building strong involvement mechanisms.
- Lead the Site Management Team
- Provide strong leadership and coaching for direct reports.
- Lead and direct Production, Maintenance & Sustainability continuous improvement plant functions.
- For each AOP & IGP process, make the Direct Labor, MOH & Capex budgets, confirm within Manufacturing Lead Team and meet annual and mid-month forecasts.
- Deliver financial AOP targets across and identify above plan opportunities to deliver financial gains.
- As part of those processes, develop best product, capacity & demand taking into account minimum production cost & minimum investment with the involvement of Supply Chain, Quality& Environment, H&S, Planning and Reporting Managers.
- Lead Snacks Plant Capex within the agreed phasing & implementation plan.
- Lead Snacks Sustainability agenda and support ERP program in the plant.
- Construct partnership with Ops HR & Supply Chain Managers and make them a part of the SLT team as for including them in the overall management of the plant.
- Letting Ops HR Manager doing the liaison, coach and direct all plant relations with the surrounding legal commune and intervene in critical cases.
- Support ongoing quality programmes: HACCP, AIB, VA, Consumer Complaints, etc.
- Support “Product Safety” & “Product Recall” task forces as per implied by current Crisis Management Organization in the company on behalf of both plants (Manufacturing).
- Contribute to ongoing Starfleet and Site Expert Trainer programs in the region.
- Continue the plant scorecard & Ops Report every month, identify rooms for improvement and follow up on forward & corrective actions.
- Support & develop manufacturing performance systems Starfleet processes & Resources Conservation.
- Be one of the key driver of OHS & org capability development in the plant.

- Achieve compliance to GCS requirements and maintain current maturity assessment by having proper tone from the top and working closely with Control Owners to ensure controls are executed properly and tested timely in the GCS Portal. Ensure failed controls to be investigated and remediated within estimated and agreed timeline.
GEHSMS annual audit responsibilities:
- Helps management build and exemplify a positive security culture that stimulates, recognizes and values the participation and contribution of all employees;
- Performs EHS inspections / factory tours and ensures that corrective actions are taken;
- Meets monthly with the EHS manager to discuss hazards / impact, safety measures / control methods and EHS activities;
- Promptly corrects EHS issues when they notice them or are notified of their existence;
- Check the availability and maintenance of environmental protection and response equipment in case of incident (eg spill kits);
- Check and apply EHS procedures to reduce resource consumption;
- Supports the involvement and responsibility of employees in activities (participation in safety / environment committees, training, hazard inspections, accident investigations, etc.);
- Ensures that the personal protective equipment and protection systems of the machines are kept in safe operating conditions;
- Implementation of PepsiCo technical standards;
- Lead by example;
- Ensures that personal protective equipment and protective systems of machines are maintained in safe operating condition;
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, achieving above industry norms performance via compliance to internal strategy (GEHSMS) and legislative requirements. Lead the development of the safety culture on site through risk centred activity owned by the front line employees. Being a GEHSMS-duty holder.
GENERAL:

Qualifications
- Clearly demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, empower and coach a large team consisting of managers, staff and frontline employees.
- Clear communicator, able to deliver complex messages in a simple manner.
- Clearly demonstrated LEAN leadership skills with the ability to change the culture into a LEAN/CI culture driving the development of different LEAN skills of employees at all levels.
- Influencing and relationship building skills across Operations peers, seniors and the site leadership team.
- Flexible approach, a keen eye for detail and the ability to make good, balanced business decisions to meet future business and customer requirements.
- A demonstrated ability to define a long-term plan and translate through to excellent execution.
- Is seen as role model, inspiring trust in those around them whilst promoting an environment of achievement and recognition.
- Demonstrated drive for results and a can do attitude. Leverages a keen understanding of key business drivers in own area to get results and facilitate change.
- University degree in food chemistry, chemistry or mechanic engineering;
- 10 years experience in Operations or Technic of which at least 5 years of managerial control.
- Strong analytical, leading and project and time management skills;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills;
- Good knowledge of computer system;
- Good knowledge of English. Dutch is a pre.
Decision making authority: Daily autonomy to make any decision that influence the effective running of the plant operation without reference to line manager, affecting all aspects of production, employee safety, quality and cost. Authority is provided to develop and implement strategies and methods for continuous improvement in logistics processes.Negotiation authority is delegated as per company limit policy for agreements with suppliers of services and equipment.Communication: Be a clear and effective communicator, able to deliver a complex message in a simple way understandable for all employees.
