Job description
He/she will be responsible for leading all quality assurance and control activities within the manufacturing facility. He/she will ensure that all products meet internal and customer standards, oversee compliance with quality system requirements, and continuously improve quality processes and systems across the plant.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the plant’s quality team (e.g. laboratory, quality inspectors, quality technicians)
- Apply and maintain the plant’s quality management system
- Ensure that products meet customer specifications, industry standards and legal compliance
- Monitor and analyze key quality indicators, implement corrective and preventive actions and support the continuous improvement
- Manage internal and external audits, including customer audits and third-party certification audits
- Collaborate with production, engineering and supply chain teams to solve quality-related issues and improve processes
- Train and develop staff in quality procedures and practices
- Act as the main point of contact for customer quality concerns and ensure effective resolution
- Manage documentation related to quality procedures, inspections, and non-conformities
