• Serve as the primary link between the plant and the broader supply chain network to facilitate clear communication of market demand and provide timely updates on plant-specific issues.
• Ensure adherence to all internal policies and external regulations governing warehousing and distribution activities.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials and supplies to meet production requirements while staying within budget constraints.
• Monitor production performance, adjusting schedules as necessary to reduce backorders and maximise operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the global procurement team to achieve supplier management goals related to cost, quality, and performance.
• Optimise inventory levels to minimise obsolescence while ensuring raw materials align with production needs.
• Lead the Manufacturing Execution System team and drive enhancements in supply chain business processes.
• Oversee end-to-end purchasing activities, from generating purchase orders to managing vendor payments, in coordination with the Accounts Payable team.
• Develop and sustain productive relationships with vendors to meet both commercial and quality standards.
• This role oversees procurement, planning, vendor management, negotiations, logistics, customs compliance, and supports Graphics, Master Data, and Business Excellence functions.

Have you:

• A degree or equivalent third-level qualification in a relevant field.
• Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of achieving cost reductions and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Proven leadership capabilities, emphasizing the development of an inclusive, high-performance team culture.
• In-depth knowledge of integrated manufacturing systems, with SAP experience preferred.
