Summary:
Are you a policy or knowledge exchange professional who enjoys the challenges of working
collaboratively? Are you interested in working on an innovative project that brings multiple
partners together to tackle sustainability challenges in South Yorkshire? We have an exciting
opportunity to join us at the South Yorkshire Sustainability Centre.
We are looking for someone with knowledge across the environmental, economic and social aspects
of Sustainability, with the skills and experience to apply and translate this for a range of
stakeholders in a policy context. This is a key role that will work alongside the Operations
Director and Centre Manager to maximise the impact of the full research portfolio. You will be
integral to our mission to connect world leading research with regional impact, addressing
global problems at the local level.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing policy briefings and
materials, participating in regional networks and building new relationships that allows us to
disseminate the research of the SYSC. You will excel in this role if you feel comfortable
working with academics to synthesise and translate findings whilst also understanding the
structures of local government and policy making eco-systems within a region into which these
findings will be shared.
