Offer Description

The post-doc will be a member of the Geometry and curvature team of the Laboratoire d’analyse et mathématiques appliquées of the University Paris-Est Créteil.

The position is funded by the ANR Tremplin grant MAGIC of Federica Fanoni. This project concerns the study of surfaces, mostly of infinite type, and of their topological, geometric and analytical aspects.

The starting date is negotiable. The original appointment is for a year, with the possibility of an extension of two years (funded by the ANR grant GALS).

The Laboratoire d’analyse et de mathématiques appliquées (LAMA) is a research lab (UMR 8050) shared by the University Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) and the Gustave Eiffel University (UGE).

There are more than a hundred members of the lab, including roughly 70 permanent ones.

The LAMA is a member of the Labex Bézout “Models and algotrithms: from the discrete to the continuous” and of the CNRS Research Federation Bézout (FR 3522). It is also part of DIM Math Innov (Île-de-France region).
