Offer Description

The i3 research laboratory is affiliated to Sorbonne University. Directed by David Klatzmann, the general mission of i3 is to perform translational immunology, from bench to bedside. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to finalize the development of a novel immunotherapeutic approach to treat allergy. The successful candidate will be comparing this novel therapy to existing approaches and establish a model of airway allergy and immunotherapy using this strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in the field of allergy immunotherapy.
  • Develop and optimize mouse models for allergic diseases.
  • Perform a variety of techniques including molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and ELISA.
  • Analyze and interpret data, prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong background in immunology or allergy research
  • Experience with mouse models
  • Proficiency in a range of laboratory techniques and immunological assays.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

The laboratory is offering an interdisciplinary environment, including biologists, immunologists, clinicians, computer scientist and bioinformaticians.

The position is currently for up to 12 months. Salary will be commensurate to experience.
