Then you might be our new colleague to take on an exciting and challenging role in the Post-Resolution Office (‘PRO’) team at Danske Bank.In the PRO team, we manage delivery against the Commitments Danske Bank made to the US Department of Justice under the 2022 Plea Agreement. We work in an international environment together with our colleagues in business units and legal entities across all countries where the Group operates.You will be part of a team of risk, compliance and project management experts overseeing strategically important areas of our Post-Resolution Program. Together we share a mutual goal: To ensure integrity through the fair treatment of our customers and to live up to Danske Bank’s responsibility to manage risk efficiently and effectively.“As the PRO is highly prioritized by senior management, this role offers some of the financial services sector’s best opportunities for personal and professional development within risk, compliance, and the banking industry.”Implement, measure, and maintain quality processesAs our new Working Group and Reporting Lead, you will work with creating, implementing, and leading all necessary working groups to ensure the creation of relevant monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Your responsibilities will be varied and will include:

  • Support and oversee the implementation of a range of working group Commitments ensuring that the stakeholders, schedule, and agreed outputs are aligned with the overarching Post-Resolution Program.
  • Leading in the production of applicable reports, owning the rolling reporting delivery plan across the PRO, as well as providing regular management information.
  • Leading ad-hoc reporting delivery projects, or cross-functional working groups, to meet the requirements of any submissions as well as maintaining a robust control environment to ensure that each of the working groups progress against agreed timelines and deliver the required outputs.

You will also secure the maintenance of existing or future working groups to ensure applicable reporting and delivery requirements are met across the Post-Resolution Program – applying challenge and leadership to these cross-functional working groups when applicable to produce a high-quality product.Another task will include leading the dissemination of information from the PRO to all applicable working groups and compliance programs, often communicating complex matters in an unambiguous and comprehensible way, while acting as the main point of contact for the PRO for reciprocal information.Lead, review, and create reports on an accurate and timely basisWe are looking for you with a practical understanding of risk management, compliance, and controls. You have experience of chairing cross-functional working groups to deliver project-based activities, and then you also bring to the team;

  • + 7 years relevant experience in a bank, financial services firm, regulatory agency, or law firm.
  • You hold a university degree (or can demonstrate relevant work experience and success).
  • Solid skills when it comes to Power point, Word, Excel, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software such as JIRA.
  • Fluent in English – both spoken and written. Excellent written communication skills.

You have experience and willingness to work in a global environment with stakeholders across the world.
