Offer DescriptionThe post-doc will be in charge of analyzing omics data from a unique long-term marine microbial time series. The data set covers more than 10 years at a sampling frequency of up to twice a week. The post-doc will develop research topics on, but not restricted to, the seasonality of microorganisms and the ecology of microbial interactions.Data analysis, statistics, writing papers, and more depending on skillsThe host laboratory is at the Banyuls Oceanological Observatory (OOB) in the south of France. The OOB is a marine station with a strong track record in the field of marine sciences. It’s a dynamic institution that attracts a large number of students and visiting researchers each year. It’s part of Sorbonne University, one of the leading universities in France, and CNRS, a key player in international research.
